One Month Sober-ish Update
Well, 30 days have passed since I made my little pledge to try and kick the booze for a month and whilst I can’t say I’ve been 100% sober this month I’m well chuffed with how much I’ve cut back on drinking at home! Which, if you remember, was the main reason I decided to do this and make it a TWO month challenge instead of just for October.
I’ve been sharing updates every 10 days over on Instagram, which felt like a more manageable way to keep tabs on what I’ve been drinking and share new AF finds with you all. If you’ve been following along on there, I hope you’ve enjoyed the updates and found the lists of drinkypoos handy!
I promised to do a full round up for September on here so it’s all in one place. I think it’s nice to look back and it gives me a chance to highlight some of my favourite finds this last month too. So, here we are, September is done and I'm pretty much half way through my Sober challenge... well, SOBER-ISH Challenge! I mean, as I mentioned there were some slip ups and the last week of Sept was a bit of a shocker with golden tickets and being on holiday (more social drinking than I care to admit to!)
BUT the most important thing for me right now, is that I am feeling much more confident about kicking those bad, home-drinking habits! I don’t feel the ‘fuck it, I’m having wine tonight’ urge as often when I’ve had a stressful day and that’s AWESOME!
