2024 in a Nutshell

What a ride! From glorious highs to chaotic lows, I’ve rounded up my top nine favourite (and most questionable) moments to celebrate the year that was. Here's a little reflection before I dive headfirst into 2025.

Portraits on Tour

This year, I had the absolute pleasure of taking my 10-minute portraits to weddings, corporate events, and festivals like Shambala and We Out Here with Crafty Fox Market. Painting portraits IRL remains one of my favourite ways to connect with people.

Buddy's Return

After months off the road, my beloved van Buddy came back with a shiny new engine. The support I received to make this happen floored me. I am and will be forever grateful.

New Studio, New Chapter

Setting up my new studio in Stoney Stanton felt like hitting "reset" in the best but challenging way. Thank you for keeping me busy with orders – sending out little parcels of sunshine is my happy place.

Cheeky Updates

This year I embraced full no-fucks mode. One update was spicy enough to get flagged as inappropriate by Instagram. (Honestly, not even mad, it’s frightfully on brand.)

Relatable memes have been my therapy, and this one about multitasking squirrels really hit home. Who else feels personally attacked by their phone sometimes?

embracing full c*nt mode

After a tough start to the year, I took a month to focus on myself: yoga, food, and fitness. Divorce stuff aside, it was a much-needed productivity reset. Christmas has never come together so smoothly!

The year of the beaver

Buying a gumboil machine was pure joy and my best investment to date! Watching festival-goers enjoy my beaver and their balls has been the most wholesome entertainment I could ask for.
