I still don’t think I’ve accepted or processed he’s gone, let alone found the words to express my sadness 💔 

From a childhood crush on the drummer in Alanis Morisette’s ‘You Oughta Know’ video to being obsessed with the Foo Fighters during school/college/uni. The unforgettable festivals and seeing him sing Queen songs with Brian May & Rodger Taylor at Hyde Park in 2006.

From reading Dave Grohl’s autobiography to recently, when I equally shat my pants and cry-laughed my way through Studio 666.

Taylor Hawkins has been a big part of so many peoples lives, in so many different ways and although I never met him, I feel like I grew up with him. My heart hurts and goes out to his loved ones and the Foo Fighters family.
