hello NOVEMBER

WOW! Another month already, even I’m bored of saying it now but 2018 really is whizzing by and it’s time for me to finish up another little round up here. From day trips to the hills and insta-worthy lunches in London to all the Christmas fairs and some of the most exciting stockist news I’ve ever had, November has been a full on month.

I think the easiest and quickest way to do this (amidst the madness that is Christmas time!) is to bosh through a bunch of my favourite moments from the last few weeks with a photo or two and a short caption! Is that cheating? Either way… here goes!

Back to the Peak

It was so nice to be able to head back up North again for an Autumn Hike organised by Joe (Bearded Outdoors). So many lovely, familiar faces (and pooches) to catch up with too!

The Buddy Shed

We started building Buddy a home for Winter and had a great day with Team Workbench Shop, who were a BIG help in getting the initial structure up.

MATLOCK

We took Buddy for an overnight mini adventure up to Matlock Bath for the Reel Rock film festival.

Great night of climbing movies (and too much wine) followed by some fave walks up and around High Tor. Nothing a bit of fresh air and MONSTER COB in this cute little Cafe couldn’t fix though…

Winter Lights

Walking around Angelsey Abbey for their Winter Lights event was magical! Seeing the gardens, house and Mill all lit up was spellbindingly good!

Hold on to your butts!

I went to see Jurassic Park in concert at De Montford Hall and my mind was blown! Watching such a classic film (a firm fave) with a live orchestra playing the soundtrack was all kinds of goosepimply brilliant!

First festive markets

Norwich Makers Market & Cambridge Made fair were AMAZING! It was so nice to be selling and meeting people face to face. I’ll write a bit more about them all when I’ve had some more time to recover! Pinky promise!

Spending the day in London town with Claireabellemakes visiting exhibitions at the Victoria Miro Gallery and The British Library before eating the most beautiful lunch in all the land. The perfect way to step back from the madness of Christmas making and market prep!

Cafe Feya is the most instagrammable cafe I think I’ve ever walked in to, it’s on a similar level to Palm Vaults (which also bowled me over when I walked in!) and the food really is a gorgeous as it looks!

Cats on the Page

The British Library have an amazing exhibition on called Cats on the Page, which is running until January and as part of it they chose to stock some of the Hello Sunshine cat gang! Eeek!

If you manage to go and see the exhibition, make sure you check out the new ‘Bookshop’ gift shop before you go, you might spot some familiar little kitties!

Sunshine Commissions

I called last orders for all of my custom-made work this month and have managed to get lots of lovely Sunshine Portraits, commissions and custom kitties all wrapped up in time for Santa! YAY! I can’t share any of them with you so here’e a shot of me working in one of my new favourite places… Buddy!

Studs, you like?

I felt like I spent most of the month making millions of earrings. I couldn’t be happier about it though, because it was lots of the newbies flying out the door!

I’m sure there are a million more things I could waffle on about (as I could every month) but I think I’ll call it a day for November’s waffle!

Until next month Sunshine lovers…. keep smiling!
