November’s mantra

November Check-In: NOURISH

Less hustle, more care.

Feeding my body, my mind, and my nervous system - because surviving isn’t the same as being nourished.

November felt busy in that slightly scrappy, in-between way. The first festive markets of the season kicked off, which meant early starts, packing the car, long days chatting to lovely humans - and a lot of travelling in between.

  • Nourish, this month, wasn’t about perfection. It was about trying.

  • Trying to show up for myself at the gym when I could.

  • Choosing walks when my head felt noisy.

  • Stealing little pockets of seaside time with the wolf.

It also meant keeping one eye on the slippery slope into “fuck it, it’s Christmas” mode - enjoying the odd drink, but not letting November turn into a write-off before December even began.

Some days I nailed it. Some days I didn’t.

But I kept coming back to the question: what would actually help right now? And more often than not, I listened.

That feels like nourishment too.

December’s mantra is Do It Anyway - and after November, that feels less like pressure and more like permission.

I don’t need to feel ready. I just need to keep going.
