✅ BIG FUCKING TICK
This time last year I was doing Hyrox in Glasgow (and I do miss that type-2 fun) but honestly… I’m in a much better place mentally – and probably physically – than I’ve been in for a long time.
Turns out taking a step RIGHT back this year, focusing on the absolute basics (a simple daily walk) and accepting that that was enough… was exactly the reset I needed.
Somewhere along the way that switch I’ve been fumbling for since moving here has finally flicked back on and I am very excited about more future Park Run’s and pot-run breakfasts! Shout out to Attfield’s Farm Shop for this beaut of a breakfast!
Feeling very grateful for the people who’ve helped me get here – through trial, error, blood, sweat, tears and probably a fair bit of patience while I figured out how to show up for myself again 🙃 Anyway… onwards we go!
