April Intention: ALIGN

New month, fresh start

…and April’s mantra is ALIGN — bringing my mind, body, and goals into sync so I can move forward feeling strong, focused, and (hopefully) a little more in control of the chaos. With the final chapter of divorce closing, Hyrox training back on track, and therapy on the horizon, it feels like the perfect time to check in, adjust, and make sure I’m working with myself, not against.

So, here’s my April game plan for getting aligned:

🏋🏼‍♀️ BODY – Train Smart, Move Well

  • Strength & Power – 2 Hyrox classes + 2 strength sessions

  • Mobility & Recovery – 5 Reformer Pilates classes (because my body loves me for it)

  • Cardio Consistency – 2-3 runs per week, nothing fancy—just get moving!

🧠 MIND – Nourish and Reset

  • Therapy – investing in my mental space

  • Mindful eating & drinking – less autopilot, more awareness

  • Get The Fuck Outdoors – walks, Buddy time, local park adventures—just more fresh air, less screen time

☀️ BUSINESS & CREATIVITY – Align with Future Me

  • Festival season prep – getting ahead before the summer madness

  • Christmas planning – I know, I know… but Future Jo will thank me

  • Brand glow-up – logo refresh, visual tweaks, general Hello Sunshine pimping

SO, YEAH! April is all about finding flow—tuning in, adjusting where needed, and making sure I’m moving with my body, mind, and goals rather than pushing against them. No all-or-nothing mentality, no burnout, just small, steady steps to feel stronger, clearer, and more me.

Here’s to an aligned April! Let’s go!
